Wow, what kind of handles are those? Is the airy red main body painted? Or from a separate reel? Beautiful.the hooligan wrote:Charlie's bfs reels (lil_man72)

That Airy Red appears to be a Zonda Rosso with the frame paint and Zonda cross bar stickers removed.

Ok, thankszodiak311 wrote:Yeslil_man72 wrote:The 2016?zodiak311 wrote:I own too many bfs reels. Best performing bfs reel for me would be the Alderbaran BFS XG.
My personal favorite though is the Airy Red, with the stock spool, and DIY spools.

The handles started out as stock daiwa 80mm handles...zodiak311 wrote:Wow, what kind of handles are those? Is the airy red main body painted? Or from a separate reel? Beautiful.the hooligan wrote:Charlie's bfs reels (lil_man72)
The bottom reel is a Zonda rosso... almost down to 5oz. With megabass finesse spool... pic is with R edition spool
Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Thanks for the info. I always thought the rosso main body was black, so it threw me off to see a silver one.lil_man72 wrote:The handles started out as stock daiwa 80mm handles...zodiak311 wrote:Wow, what kind of handles are those? Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Lowrange, what carbon fiber handle is it you have on the alphas? (Very nice selection!)
Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
The handle is a Ray's Studio DIY handle from Aliexpress seller Wehai Fishing Tackle.

They're very nice handles for the money and can be color coded to the Nth power.

Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
I don't know why tinypic wont re-size my pics, the same link works fine on BBC. But anyway, here's my 2 BFS setups I recently acquired. One is a yellow Pixy on a Corzza 652UL BFS. The second is a PX-R on a Volkey 692UXL BFS. I haven't used this Volkey yet, but looking forward to it. I caught a bunch of small bass last weekend on the yellow Pixy/Corzza combo, using a tiny crank. It was really fun! Last one is an Alphas Type F with spacers and a Pixy spool on a Volkey 692L. I also have an Alphas SV on a Go Emotion 67ML and another Alphas Type F on a Jackall Nero 68L. I think I've went a little overboard with the BFS stuff lol!

I can relate to BFS over load, but guess what?hoohoorjoo wrote:I don't know why tinypic wont re-size my pics, the same link works fine on BBC. But anyway, here's my 2 BFS setups I recently acquired.
