Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Tell me about it. I've been through so many BFS reels the past 3 years. I am currently trying to off load a 16 &12 Aldebaran BFS I aquired from my BFS frenzy.hoohoorjoo wrote:I don't know why tinypic wont re-size my pics, the same link works fine on BBC. But anyway, here's my 2 BFS setups I recently acquired. One is a yellow Pixy on a Corzza 652UL BFS. The second is a PX-R on a Volkey 692UXL BFS. I haven't used this Volkey yet, but looking forward to it. I caught a bunch of small bass last weekend on the yellow Pixy/Corzza combo, using a tiny crank. It was really fun! Last one is an Alphas Type F with spacers and a Pixy spool on a Volkey 692L. I also have an Alphas SV on a Go Emotion 67ML and another Alphas Type F on a Jackall Nero 68L. I think I've went a little overboard with the BFS stuff lol!

More of the Rosso. I've been trying to capture the color changing of the reel as it shifts from a violet red to an orange red under different light condition. It's a very pretty reel.
Haibo Smart on Kuying Teton 662L. Rod casts small plugs great but the reel is kinda a pain in the ass at times.

I agree, it is absolutely stunning together but it looks like your deck could use another coat of stain!pharmboy2010 wrote:The Rosso looks perfect on the Super Trickster!
Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Lol thanks for the kind words all. The deck is being allowed to weather off its stain so I can get back seeing wood again. Once the years or red stain are off I'm switching to sealing instead of staining. Pics of my SS SV and Volkey BFS to come once the SLP works stage II kit gets here.
Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Had to dig for these in the garage. I bought them a couple years ago new and haven't used them. i know I bought honey combs for them somewhere. One I believe has a type R spool. Time to put them to use this winter

Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Very nice. Lol... nice garage find. Any plans on what you intend to pair them to?
