Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Odd coupling and somewhat blasphemous, but fun for open water for smaller cranks, 3/8oz Ima skimmers, trick darter plus 1s.....but I really like it with a lighter neko rig set up for shallow fishing at night or day. Teetaz and surprisingly strong!

Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
She is a fun set up. Let see, I use her for 1 quarter ounce to 5/16 ounce jig and small trailer combo, smallie Beaver type plastic. Lighter t rigging, weightless senko type baits, 3/8 in below Shaky Head and Finesse Worm combination and Drop shotting comfortable range 3/16 up to 3/8oz with finesse worms and DS geared plastics. I am sure she would be a fun shallow running plug or even for jerk bait from the boat. Set up has a versatile tip and stong, X-4s baby!

Got this from another member, took the mothers aluminum polish to it now looks really pretty!
Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
Gorgeous. Is that a genesis purple that has been polished with an Alphas SV face plate? I like it. I've always wanted to polish an Ito Ai. I may have to nab one of these after seeing how good they look polished. I'm thinking polished with red parts
Already got a red Alphas DIY spool I'm not using

Re: Show off your BFS Casting Reels
ITO AI given the mothers aluminum polish with dremel treatment. Standard alphas 103 side plate. Zonda 68 line guide, with hedgehog purple accessories. Cosugi works spool (7.8g with bearing on my scale) and 6.8 gearset. Sitting on the Jackson trickster now but have yet to test it. Just flushed the bearings and spooled it up. Looks to be promising as I was able to pitch a 1.3g micro crankbait in the yard with relative ease and the 2.3g bitsy minnow wanted to take off like a rocket. I'm off work for the next 4 days so I can see what the spool can do.

What's the dremel treatment?
What Super Trickster do you have?
Post some pics of that combo. I've got a Alphas on a Super Trickster myself.

I applied the aluminum polish with a dremel and cotton buffer wheel. It's on the 6'4"L trickster. I'll have to get some pics in the daylight but so far work has kept me from home during that time
