Silver Pixy with Airy Red silver spool, Carbon drag stack, swept star and handle, MB knobs, 6.8 gears, worm bearing added, Hedgehog air bearing, 8# Suffix Seige. It's riding on an X7 Super Eiger.

Silver Pixy, cool with red airy spool, awesome. On a Super Eiger perfect!

Never been a fan of the "plain" silver Pixy, but that is one classy combo!

Since I don't really know where the line is where finesse ends and light bass tackle begins I will post my 1/4 oz and under cranking setup. This is a Ryoga 1016 with a TDZ 105 spool. I had to remove the brass shim behind the bearing in the side plate for the spool to fit, but it is still centered. Also odd as it may seem the spool is noticeably faster in the Ryoga than in a TDZ or Steez. The only reason I can think of is the inductor must be farther away from the magnets in the side plate because of the variance in spool shaft dimensions. I have the mag breaks set on 2 most of the time and it flat out screams without any need for my thumb to slow it down. It's mounted on a 6'10 Elseil XDTi which is old school megabass, but still a favorite.
