Back from Another Wisconsin Trip...

Post by Nitroman77 » Wed Oct 16, 2013 12:28 pm

Went up Last Thurs and fished for 4 days with a buddy as we had a mini Club Tourney up there on Sun so we messed around on Both Geneva and Delavan..
We fished Thurs on Delavan and whacked them up shallow and under docks as the warm temps really helped out..
We caught them on Jigs, DUO Topwaters, Omega Swim jigs and spinnerbaits
Geneva we were Drop Shotting in 22-25 feet of water off one of the Cribs that we found on a drop and man was it FUN!
I was throwing 4lb line on my DX701 and Pixy SPR and my Buddy with 6lb line catching 4 lb smallies for about 45 mins..

looks awesome, if only the fish are fatter. They look awefully malnutritioned, those could be brutes given the length of those fish.

The fish for the most part were fat, but not FAT as they were still on the late summer feed..
They shoukd be feeding heavily now till Nov before they get ice up there..
