That moon drag was made for the light. I know it was literally made for the SS SV, but this is where it truly belongs. One hot combo right here.

Daiwa Morethan PE SV paired with a MB Javelin 7'5
Daiwa Zillion HLC '16 paired with a MB Orochi XX Launcher 7'11
Just took the HLC for it's first casts and spun off all 70 yards of 40# Dual Hardcore Braid throwing a 1/2 oz casting plug with a bit of wind at my back. Insane.
Just need to add a Daiwa Battler paired with a MB T.S Poker and I can die a happy man.

I really want to put the 8 speed gear kit in mine. Also like the Z drag star. Does the Tatula Zaion star work also? I'm kinda going for a stock look on mine. Has a G1 SV TW spool and Tatula HD handle so far. Great looking reel you have there. I figure you aren't running the stock spool either...goldrod wrote:SS SV 7.9:1 gears

Is that the one you pictured on what I assume is a Tatula Elite rod? Absolutely love those knobs always wanted to try some of those out
