Re ZPI vs DIY handles LowRange- I haven't fished them very much yet, but there's almost zero difference that I can tell. The ZPI nut and lock screw anodizing is a bit nicer, but the DIY is more than satisfactory. The carbon and knob shafts look great. I'm going to be buying a lot more of them in the future.

Finally got around to replacing the gears in the Sol with some 6.8's. SV105 cast control cap for good measure. Thank you Tackle Trap! No more red on orange!

The SV103 drag star matches the black of the CCC perfectly, I have both of those on an Airy and they're sharp, especially with a carbon/black handle.
