I love all the color variations of the zillion sv tw’s! I didn’t see a gold one in there so I’ll post mine. It’s got a steez a 90mm handle, full slp works dress up kit, slp limited event gold knobs, zpi pg spool and bearings, HH studio gold parts to round it out. It sits on my Sedition White Falcon cranking stick.

:big grin: Thanks. I got that blue spool and couldn't fight the compulsion to customize the reel around it. Now I either need a violet PG for it or a red PG for the red one.

Those knobs are sick. Looking good!

Did you cast off a bunch of line before taking that pic or do you run with that little? Is that because you're in effect gearing down that 7.3? How you liking that rod? Maybe this should've been a PM, lol...

LOL funny you noticed the line. Actually that’s why I took the pic. I brought it down from my rack to put new line on it and figured I’d take a pic or two before the sun went down. I just filled it with 12lb sniper. I love this rod. The tip is extremely agile and accurate, and I can whip all sorts of crankbaits out there with a little flick of the wrist. It’s very sensitive and has a lot of reserve power when fighting fish although it seems very whippy when testing the tip and taper. I mostly use it around riprap banks and open water and not ripping grass. It handles the majority of my typical cranking duties. It seems like a rod most would either hate or love due to the action. I happen to love it.

×4 I kinda regret not getting an SV103 when I had the chance.

Those bass or die knobs look like they were made for that reel. =D>

That drag star looks great on that OG Steez, too. How does it compare to the SV TW?
This is the way.

OG Steez 103hl/NRC001-M/MS-X 65ML

how's the braking force with that spool inside the og steez? is the control reasonably good with fluoro or is it wild as hell like the R and R+ spools when used in the older steez?

Curious as well. Might be kicking myself for letting the of steez go if the Zpi spool was the ticket.

It's wild as hell. Completely unusable. Backlash City.

The R+ is tame by comparison.

Works great in a Zillion SV, though.

If the r+ is what's considered tame in comparison wow lol. I personally fund the r+ to be completely worthless inside the older steez. Maybe thick(er) oil in the bearings will slow it down enough to have any kind of control, but with a pair of dry ceramic hedgehogs that thing was unusable.

A couple reels I just finished up recently. The Sv103 and Coastal TWS came out great; lots of goodies and fun modifications packed in those. Just picked up the Zillion SV and threw a few things on it so far and I've got to thank my main man Johnny Skinnz, for sending the coastal my way for a nice winter project to keep me warm. Think carnival music.
