I just saw the first picture and had to post this picture of a reel I painted. It is a Chronarch 50mg that has caught tons of fish. 99% of those fish in saltwater. I am sorry the picture is terrible, but it is the only one on my computer.

Scorpion I just bought from Weedsnager here on the forum. Cleaned it up and changed the handle.

its pretty sweet...it definately prevents birdsnests, but at the same time when you throw smaller lures it does feel a bit restricted. i wish the dc system could be completely turned off. i sense the start up speed of the spool to be very high, and i know it would throw lures a lot further under fully manual control. nevertheless its part of my permanant collection. the gears are incredibly smoooooth outta the box and the drag is very strong. it makes for a great beginners reel, its very forgiving if your casting skills are still developing, but most users here, myself included, owning this reel is all about the cool factor rather than actually needing the dc control.
