Something about these combos I love! Great reels the Curado K 200XG's are I've used them on older Expride's & a Curado rod, they fished a variety of techniques very well last year for me but this new frog rod I went for is going to be fun to use in the heavy slop and duckweed. IMX-PRO 885C TWFT 7'4" Mag-Heavy Fast & now as I added another days later IMX-PRO 884C TWFR 7'4" Heavy Fast. The 885 rod still has a little bit of tip although I haven't fished it, the rod should fire a frog a long way and has that flipping stick backbone i wanted for winching in fish on the really heavy stuff while the 884 feels a hair softer it just flex's a little easier so for the lighter soft swimbait (4.8" Swinging Hammer) it will case it better and still has great power for winching in heavy cover.

Rods for me are done for this season waiting on a second Aldebaran MGL 50HG and I'm set for summer! Will post a full arsenal pic in the coming weeks. Got my second Conquest 905C this past week, extremely excited.

1)65lb MaxCuatro-Deep weedlines anywhere from 7-12' sometimes 14 and 15' depending on the summer. Bigger jig's a 3/4oz & 1oz most of the time. If the jig bite isn't on this rod will be used shallow fishing pads, slop 1/2-3/4oz stuff in nasty cover. I have the 954 for the 1oz+ stuff up shallow.

2)22lb Structure FC-Deep weedlines in the same depth's however this rod will have my 3.5" Texas Rig Jig on it 95% of the time. When the jig bite isn't on I can get my bites on that, with the fluoro and a 1/2-3/4oz bullet it falls quick with that enticing spiral action. Still strong enough to use in vegetation, ill fish rock weed transitions, rock banks wood lay downs with this setup as it did awesome last summer!

Finally tried out the PG hyper approach today at a little lake. Had to take a picture of this beast.

Playing around with the K and DC to normalise the colour scheme's.

I think it works out a bit better?

Also wearing Antares knobs (also the DC now)

It is a custom build. MHX Rod, Matagi reel seet, Fuji guies, full cork handle, and green and gold trim work around the guides. It is 2 powered blank ideal for "mag finesse" apps. I use it for a variety of smaller baits between 1/4 to 3/8 oz like smaller spinnerbaits, flat sided cranks, jerkbaits and topwater poppers. At 6'9 it fishes topwaters and jerkbaits exceptionally well.

Thank you! The reel is the Conquest 50. It is being sent to a fellow TT member for cleaning/service! Can't wait to get it back.

How would you compare the expride vs. your adrena Rods?
