jpmoney wrote:Nice gear MTBF! You will love the MGL, and just might become your favorite reel. That NRX 894C is an awesome rod if you love the jig, and would fit in perfectly with those 895's.

Now im tempted to try a curado 70...heard nothing but great things about them so far.
I have spent no time really casting with them except maybe 50ft short casts with a jig and they have been perfect. They pitch really well as good as my Aldebaran 50HG does, very quick the bait flys out nice.

Give one a try, little tanks they feel like..Pretty smooth out of the box, no real ticks or noises seem solid. I was going to add a 5th Curado 70XG but opted for a treat and the bonus of the extra line pickup the XG Metanium has over the Curado. Believe it's at 36IPT vs 32IPT the XG Curado has.

And yes the 894 will fill a little gap in the lineup for sure excited to get that stick.

Nice first post. Welcome aboard!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

It's those 28 dollar DIY ones from Ali Express.
