my new lil Japanese honey
Nothing too pricey, but she is a sure enough beauty IMO...paint flops from blue to green to purple, and she's a phenomenal match for my Legend Extreme..already thinking about buying a couple more, honestly the nicest paint scheme I have seen as a factory job, outside of the Itos...feels powerful, and very smooth drag as well...I dig it

Re: my new lil Japanese honey
Thanks gents, for the positive comments regarding this attractive young lady (as well as my Johnson bulldog b*tch,MMAsturgeon-bulldogs are the bomb!)..For biggs-It is a JDM Daiwa Emeraldas, designed actually as a squid fishing(Eging) reel, but perfect size for certain freshwater duties as well.It is the quality and price equivalent of the old Sol or Fuego spinning reels IMO,and reflects such in it's pricing. They can be had from the auction site for a hair under 200 with single handle, dual handle will up the price to about 220...including free EMS shipment from Japan. This model is INF 2506W..."W" designating the dual handle(not sure why on that per se,but it is what it is lol)..single handle version would thus be INF 2506.IMO,great little reel for the money.Only thing I'm not crazy about straight from the gate,is the shallow spool...although realistically it will hold more than enough line for it's intended bass duties.I think my initial objection to that is simply due to this being the first shallow spooled spinning reel that I have owned..I ran across this little gem when searching high and low for a reel that looks half decent with a St. Croix Legend Extreme(anyone who has one of these rods knows what a gorgeous color it is painted, but also that there are almost NO reels on the market that come even close to matching aesthetically)...but there is this one,and it matches almost perfectly. Not the biggest deal in the world regardless, but something that does matter to some..
There are also souped up newer versions of this reel out there, that run ALOT more...But they have different paint schemes, and I do believe that they don't have the option of the dual handle...

Great looking reel. I love dual handles. I have a BP spinning that must be 20 years old. I can't stop using it. One of the reasons is I love the handle. Makes the reel feel more balanced to me.
Good luck with it.
Good luck with it.

That's identical to Pams. That little reel will punch way above its weight class. Pams accounted for a metre long queenfish and a 22lb golden trevally

Love that reel . Another one to go on the want's (not needs) list .
Re: my new lil Japanese honey
Beautiful little reel. I have been considering getting one myself, just to get something different.
They have them for a really good price at JapanProFishing.com, better than anywhere else I've seen anyway.

with camera flash or with sunlight, the teal colored top of the spool matches perfectly...without sun/bright light, the reel body matches perfectly...I love it! Ordered another one with single handle, should be here soon~

VERY NICE! That is the best match I've ever seen for a LEX.
I recently broke my brown LES70MLF , and have been thinking about trading-up to the same model in the Extreme series.
I have a Certate 2500 looking for a home, and was thinking it may look pretty good on the LEX.
