Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
Another northern Ohio fattie. Caught it two weeks ago on a black and blue jig.

It was only 107 degrees in the Coachella Valley today. You guys in Ohio are doing just fine with the funky cooler weather! Nice fish! At least the fish are biting here at night.

There is snow falling outside.

Snowing in mass tonight as well and when it ends tomorrow they are calling for 20 to 30 mph winds with gust to 40. F me

You guys have it worse than I thought. I won't whine that I'm upset that I recently had to change tactics because the lily pad openings are all gone. You guys may not have any pads yet.

Stopped off on my way home from work for only my second outing this year so far. Water level is way down, was fishing a reservoir inlet. Started off in a very shallow / narrow section of the inlet with 2 bluegill and 3 small bass on an inline spinner on the UL. Started throwing the spinnerbait when it got a bit deeper / wider as I made my way towards the main water body. Managed a pickerel and 3 bass on that, this being the best of the bunch. Felt good to fish again, I stopped after pre-spawn last year, had a lot of other things taking my time. Still the same bait, line and even knot from last spring.

Nice bass guys! Getting some fishing in when you can always leads to awesome catches. No doubt it’s gotta be cold up north, it’s in the 40’s this morning here on the Gulf Coast!

These monsters have been schooled up for weeks in the shallows, and the sight fishing has been insane! Similar to bass, the big females group up and wait for that moon to get right(prespawn) and then move out to spawn. Definitely not easy in the crystal clear water, but can usually trigger a couple fish to bite each day. This one was a true trophy, and was released healthy and happy.

Absolutely beautiful fish. Always know to expect a biggun when crankbaitaddict is posting.JBcrankaddict wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 8:34 amThese monsters have been schooled up for weeks in the shallows, and the sight fishing has been insane!
