Biggest of the topwater bite so far.
Image
Ito put on the side, even on flowers, is an automatic scratch :crying: btw i use that same showerblows for so long, it barely has any chartreuse paint left, but still outcatching most of my topwater lures.
It's already scratched and geary. It's going to go out of this world getting fished throwing topwaters on an Ottomat to the end.
Og Steez gears fittest reel and are still available afaik.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

It's that time of the year around here, a couple of grass bass from recent quick outings.

Which Heartland AGS rod is that? I have the 741-MHRB, one of my favorite rods. It’s a sleeper rod, one that doesn’t get much mention.

My buddy turned me onto the rod. I had never seen nor even heard of that series before, but once I tried it, I had to have one. It took a while to source, and I paid premium for it but worth every penny IMHO.

Thanks! It is the 2nd trout that exact size I have caught in the same stream after fishing it for 10 years. Others have caught bigger fish up to around 34 inches and 17 pounds - but fish that size are VERY FEW in that little stream and several years pass between they are caught. Even 29 inch fish are not caught every year. It was fun :D
