Only problem was, I had fished for hours with my actual muskie setup, and I took a break from it, picked up my Loomis Bass rod (7'6 MH) cast da mepps and wham.

go figure lol

It’s been quite awhile since I hold a big slab. Worth the cold and got up at two in the morning. Only one crappie but damn 5 bass.
