Fished all day on Lake Okeechobee without seeing any gators until this guy hit my Megabass 110 mag half way back to the boat. First gator on a jerkbait.

Caught one 7-8’ in my kayak on a chatterbait last year, interesting fight  Haven’t seen one eat a jerkbait before though, until now!

Really got to test out the 843c Conquest yesterday with some heavy cover redfish action. These 10lb+ fish were hanging around these razor sharp reef modules and submerged rock piles, and would definitely try to take you right back into them. This one ate in the opening on the left side of pic, and didn’t make it easy getting him out! Heavy drag, thumb on the spool and just pull and hope  Size 1 KVD hooks get the job done when you need them to!

The water is so clear right now, sightfishing has been amazing! Big redfish cruising all day.

Decided to try out a Conquest842 for 3/8oz chatterbait’s while messing around the other day, and these big guys decided to eat. They smoked it so hard I actually watched the line drop to the surface of the water before I could set the hook! Literally knocked several feet of slack in my line! Deps Bcustom got the first one, second one inhaled the Jackall Break Blade.

That’s one thick fish! Nice work. Spinnerbaits still get the job done!
