Daiwa Rod re-done
Have a Daiwa rod that I feel like redoing, orginally a firewolf down rigger type, I change it to a bait casting type after I find I like the action, here is the outcome after reconfiguring the whole thing, making it a split grip, changing the guides to spiral wrap and painting the reel seat gloss black.

Great work - very clean and nice thread details too! Gotta love being able to make something exactly the way you want it!
