the monkeys belly is full for now

Post by superman_36 » Fri Aug 31, 2007 2:04 pm

The first rod is the Daiwa Heartland Flight Flip HL741hxhfb-wao07. This rod is absolutely stunning the blank has a pearl purple on the entire blank and the windings are electric looking in the sun. The reel seat is stunning also only to the heartland rods.

The second is the ALPHAS DEMON DC63MLR bang for you buck these rods are great I haven't fished this one yet to compare it to the Tranis I have in the same size and action but I am sure it will meet my expectations

The third rod is the tried and true Gan Craft Dictator 660 MH enough has been said about this rod

The fourth rod is another Classic the exceptional Megabass Aaron Martins 610 DG paired with the 07 Stella 2500

The reel is the Alphas ITO AI that I finally finished it looks insane in the sun just need to pair it up with one of the new rods and have some fun with it

hope you like the pics

Beautiful gear for sure.. your very fortunate to of gotten all that at once, enjoy it. I really like what you did with the Alphas Ito but would think itd look better if the inside slits of the handle that are painted red were color matched with that blue. Absolutely nice. I love the looks of that Daiwa rod.

edit**** Nevermind about the handle, is that the IZE red spool?

That alphas ito is done nicely! I always wanted to anodize mine gold and get gold I'ze spool, god I'ze ito knobs, and 90mm bassart carbon handle, but i wonder how much it would cost to anodize the body, side plate, star drag, and tension knobs?

just so you know the alphas style reels can't be anodized. The body is cast and it has some other metals in it that will not take the anodize. That is why this reel is painted because i had it anodized and found out the hard way ;)
