One of a kind KISTLER Senko Special Spiral Wrap w/ REC's

Well, here's something you won't see. :)

I have not found a better action blank than the original Kistler Senko Special California Series (Lamiglas blank). So, I had this one done. It's split grip, no fore grip, spiral wrapped REC guides (except for the tip which is an Alconite). This is my true DREAM Senko rod! Incredibly lightweight and once again, the action of this blank is my favorite action for Senkos!

Nice soft tip to not interfere with the Natural like fall of the Senko, yet loads up real nice for the BIG fish ;)

HAHA, i got really excited for a minute until i remebered this was the Show and Tell board not the For Sale board.....nice rod, you just had an old model remade i am assuming?

Kistler allows you to custom order a rod to your specifications ... hence their name.. Kistler CUSTOM rods.

I had an He69APC wrapped from the factory the same way as ZPIFan's Senko Special, about two years ago ;)

I've since had the rod stripped and re-wrapped with Fuji Alconites.

yeah i knew they would do custom work. i asked because the rod looks brand new, but is an older California Series. i didnt know if he had an older rod redone or not

How was I incorrect? I never said you got YOURS from the factory. I just stated that you CAN do this from the factory as I did two years ago ;)
