heres some newer purchases of mine. the Kistler MgTs 6'6''MH, GLoomis BCR854, Kistler Helium2 7'H/Shimano Metanium XT, and a Shimano Crucial 7'M/Shimano Biomaster 1000. I like them all and am especially pleased with the Biomaster/Crucial combo. Also, is my guitar collection, for those of you who might care. sorry if the pics are too big :?

Gr8 guitar collection...is that a Paul Reed Smith on the wall with the Les Paul? I wonder how many Ito reels and Megabass rods that baby set you back? Also, where did you find the guitar hangers? I'm desparate for a few of those to get my Rickenbacker, Goya C/W Jumbo accoustic and old Framis banjo out of the closet.

THANKS GUYS, you can get the hangers from http://www.musiciansfriend.com. not in the picture but my dad gave me his old 76(?) Rickenbacher 4001 bass. the Paul Reed Smith ive had for about 9 years. its a 1996 Standard 24 and it plays awesome, but not as good as the Parker Fly, they are UNREAL.

Nice collection you got there!

How does the LTX compare to the LTA? Or if you don't have an LTA how does it compare to the MgTS?

I sold a Parker NiteFly when I moved a few years ago. I was never crazy about it. It did help fund my living expenses for 5 weeks though. Unfortunately, I also quit playing guitar.

I'm interested in that Kistler H2 7'H/ Metanium XT combo. Please let me know how that balances and casts once you've had it out a few times! Sweet guitar collection by the way.

as good of a rod that the Helium LTAs are, the LTXs beat them hands down. my Magnesium rod is a 6'6'' and i dont really use it all that much b/c i prefer +6'6'' rods in most apps but its a nice rod. the Metanium is a great reel but i prefer the finish on the Chronarchs better. it actually feels a bit different that them as well but its a different reel so i guess it should. it casts really well and the retreive is very smooth. the combo balances very well and so far ive used it for some T-Rigs and spinnerbaits. i think its just as sensitive as my GLX and its much lighter. i even got to try the grip out in the rain and it worked just fine. its a great combo

Those are nice combos. I like the guitar collection as well. I have a 1971 Medallion hogback acoustic, an Ovation , and a 1969 Las Paul.
