Sorry if this is a stupid question but would this reel be compareable to the Shimano twinpower within each companies lineup?

More or less yes. The twinpower is basically a stripped down aluminum Stella, and the Certate is basically a stripped down aluminum exist. Although in previous iterations I think the Certate sits closer to the exist than the twinpower does to the Stella, in terms of trickledown features.

I just got the 2024 Certate LT3000-CH. It's lighter in hand than previous model. The bail wire is thinner in gauge. It feels very much like my Exist PCLT2500-H. I have not fished it yet but I think it will compare very favorably to the Exist at a less expensive price.

I have a lt2500 on the way. Anyone know what the CH designation means? I contemplated ordering that model

Got my LT2500 in today. Spooled it up with 1.5 Varivas Seabass SI-X. Had some issues putting line on it. At first the line lay was very bottom heavy so I removed a spacer, its better now but slightly top heavy. May add a spacer back in. I used it for an hour or so tonight from the bank but didnt catch anything. So far the line lay hasnt seemed to hurt casting performance and/or line management.

I will say it is hands down the best looking reel I have ever laid eyes on. Paired up to my Kaleido Spider spin it makes for an incredible looking combo.

That's great braid, I use the PE1 on my 4000. So far I think it's my favourite after 25 years of using different braids

No Cap the new Twinpower looks a bit more interesting than the certate, I'm torn between the two and this is coming from owning 3 certates from 3 diff gens (my ride and die b*tch)

They are hard to kill, turning that handle on the twinpower at basspro has me with mixed feelings.
