Look nice, but seem to weigh quite a bit more than the p5's.

If well balanced, it won't mean anything. I have the OG Evoluzion rods from MB. They weight around 5.5oz, and are noticeably comfier to use than my 5pc Zodias that weights like an oz and a half less.

You can get it from Japan with proxy services easily. It is coming May 2023. Megabass America only provide one year no repair fee warrenty. This rod will be at least 30 percent cheaper in Japan.

Anyone hearing any preliminary buzz, on these? Any pros spill the beans on stand out models they’ve tested? I saw the announcement on them, and then things went quiet, I figured the marketing machine of Megabass would be pumping out the hype.

I imagine that there is no 3-5pc versions of these new Orochi rods? Would be very interested if there was one.

If these are affordable to import i will be getting one of the jig sticks and this thing just because it reminds me of my 72H Huyga. I would like a higher end version of that rod. My Hyuga has seen some sh*t and shows it. It would also be nice if it can double as a big jig stick. The Hyuga pitches real well with a heavy bait but it's not a tip up or sensitive rod being made from 2015 Levante graphite.

Got a couple on the way. I'd be glad to post my thoughts and a few pics when they get in. From the photos I've seen of folks who got them in today, they are very beautiful. My hope is they're balanced well to offset their weight.

If you could post pics of the balancing point when you get them in, that's be awesome!

I just got my X10 Bearingdown in today and man that rod is beautiful. The reel seat feels great and I hope that’s something they eventually put on the destroyers. I’ll be taking it out tomorrow so hopefully I’ll lean on a couple with it.

I went with the Cliffhanger and the Swamp Survivor. I wanted to see how they were at opposite ends of the weight spectrum.
