I’m waiting to see some info on the new super stallion, thought I’d read early 2024 release somewhere. Holding off on the dire wolf wild 7 for this
Exciting times! Can't wait for the details on the super stallion. Holding off on the dire wolf wild 7 too. Fingers crossed for an early 2024 release!

The firesword looks like an awesome crankbait stick, wonder if its more a finesse cranker or 3/8 1/2 cranking stick. What role does the super stallion fill in their lineup? Is it an allaround XH ? I see its rated as MH but up to 3oz.

That fire sword looks to be the ticket for 3/16-3/8oz cranks

Great reading. No doubt that the GT3 will be wildly popular but I’m not interested in a softer tip GT2 myself and adding M40X only to the back end of the rod isn’t enough for me to offset the switch to SS guides in the tip/berry section. I get the cast feel argument but it’s also been extremely difficult to keep up with titanium frame guide demand and EG is making (in part) a business decision there.

I’m more looking forward to the next update of the Rapid Gunner lineage. That’s a rod that better suits my style of fishing.

Yea I’m not completely sold yet. May actually end up going with a studio composite paradox

I too am looking forward to the next rapid gunner. Currently have the RG HD, what a fun rod.

The Rapid Gunner needs a "little brother". I'd buy it in an instant.

I’ve been thinking that myself. Something in the M+ to MH+ range would be amazing

Looks like EG is revising the twist in the Kaleido series with the Quad Stingray 66ML

I've been looking forward to the Kaleido BFS rod, as I love my phase BFS rod and wanted to try their high end offering. Am I misinterpeting the article or does it say that it is going to have a solid tip? I hope that isnt the case because if this is a solid tip rod that completely dampens my enthusiasm for this rod

I don't think they were indicating that this rod is going to be a solid tip. It's the announcement of their new "radical" sprial guide setting in the Kaleido series. I think they will eventually be a couple with that guide setting. They really don't give a bunch of detail on it, so I am not sure if it solid or not. My link was the 2nd page of the artice, here is the first:

That aurora super stallion looks fantastic! Almost makes me want to find one but I’m gonna hood out for the new SS

I really wish the new spinning rods were grip forward, I’ve really come to prefer that style
Agreed. Ihave a Tatula spinning rod with the reverse/cork forward grip and it has me wanting all my spinning rods that way.
