What reel/line are you planning to pair with the rod? Definitely post pictures once it arrives!HobeyBaker wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 6:44 pmI ordered a RS version. I plan on using it for chatterbaits, but it sounds like it will do a lot of things well. I might have opened Pandora’s box. Lol

It looks like it shipped out today via FedEx so probably an early week delivery next week.

The rod was finally delivered today after being stuck in Alaska for almost a week (FedEx has really gone downhill). The rod has a nice progressive regular taper to it. I think it will be great for 3/8-3/4 oz bladed jigs and larger top water.

I haven't put enough time in with it for a review. Our lakes opened up about a month ago and I have only made a few casts with it out of curiosity. I've been mostly fishing finesse jigs since our water temps are so cold.jerkbait22 wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 8:32 amWhat’s been your experience with the rod?HobeyBaker wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 2:43 pmThe rod was finally delivered today after being stuck in Alaska for almost a week (FedEx has really gone downhill). Still no updates from me. I have taken it out a few times, but the conditions have always favored swim jigs. It’s too powerful for 1/4 oz northern style swim jigs.CodyNeely11 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 1:54 pmAnyone have updates on this rod?HobeyBaker wrote: ↑Mon May 02, 2022 9:00 amI haven't put enough time in with it for a review.
