looks like they have a 6'10 ML rod in the making. sounds like a perfect drop shot rig
I wish the 7'4 was one piece like the 6'10!

Rod's balance with the 195g of Ignis Type-R 2505
So that's the 7'4 2pc center cut spinning rod? On the website they state a lure rating of 3/16 - 3/4oz...how would you compare your experience with it?
For me the lure rating is exact and it's difficult to go beyond

Handle length (little perspective but really begin on the butt cap)
Photos of all the guides + the ferrule joint would be great too :)
The nicest spigot I ever view

Sorry for these pictures that aren't at the best angle.
Like I previously say, the rod is reg/fast but in my opinion is more Fast than regular.
The tip is very fine which reinforces the Fast side of the rod. Once under pressure, the blank bends very gradually like a regular rod.
I don't know if it really help you guys :D

I also own the model below if someone want some infos.
Vigore 16
GVGC-68ML
GVGC-610M
GVGC-611MH
GVGC-74X
GVGS-610ML
GVGS-792M (POWER GAME custom)

I was looking for the 16 Vigore 611MH and 610ML but no luck yet... how would you compare those with other high-end rods you may have? also from your experience are these GL bass rods able to withstand some abuse?
thx

I still have 2 GL Nuovo Vigore and since I had Vigore in hand, I have had trouble getting out. I'm not saying these are the best rods in the world. I just appreciate the performance / price ratio, the design and the fact is made in Japan.
I have an MB Aaron Martens X7 F7-71 that I can compare with the Vigore 74X. The Megabass is not as well balanced and is heavier than the Vigore. On the other hand, it is more powerful despite being given for 2oz against 3oz for the 74X. This brings me to the following reflection, a rod which at 50% more power than that advertised will be less "fragile" in the use recommended by the manufacturer.
I don't think GL is more fragile than the rest, a buddy walked in the middle of my 610M on the boat and she got nothing.
I was able to compare with Poison Adrena 610M, Destroyer 2016 F3-610 HIEN (that I sold) both a good rods but they aren't better that Vigore. They are not very high end like the MB Evolution, Kaleido, Poison Ultima or Steez Racing Design that I never own.
However for 4-500 dollars range rods they do the job and do it really well.

yes Poison Adrena, Destroyer and Vigore are priced in about the same range in Japan, and I really want to see if nanoalloy + T1100G make any distinguishable difference in blank and performance. I have a couple of other rods from GL and I love them all.

With pleasure. Compared to the Nuovo Vigore I would say that the Nanoalloy + T1100G bring more lightness, I have the impression that the blank is more sensitive. Looks like the resonance frequency feels better. There is also a gain in solidity but fortunately I didn't have any breakages to compare.

May I have your report on this rod please. Power, sensitivity, action ... With some pictures please?
