I have both and would say below 1/4 oz / below 10 lb line go versatile finesse.
Since you are in a more grey zone, I will suggest that you buy the NEO as it will give you more versatility. Just do not overfill the spool

I have a purple neo and purple versatile finesse on the way (although I may be selling the versatile finesse but not the neo). I was just saying they are on the karil or ktf website. They posted on Facebook they had both in stock and when I posted this morning all colors were in stock.

I'm not sure. I just saw the update on Facebook that they were in stock. I've been buying mine used or from resellers. If they only ship through japan post then not yet. I'm still getting all my stuff fedex/DHL.
