And this is after a very long cast with the 3/8 plug just to show how much line is left...

There are no bearings under the handle knobs but I took care of that already... [img][img][/img][/img]I casted with a 3/8 casting plug at the house which it absolutely bombs! I loaded it with 12lb pline flouroclear and paired it with my Expride BFS 7’2”ml. I didn’t get to hook up with any fish but it cast a weightless “4 Senko and super fluke Jr as good as my Aldebaran 30 MGL, which means it’s a keeper! Pretty happy with it so far, can’t wait for spring so I can really get a feel for it! I’ll try to get some photos and more info posted after dinner...
Sounds promissing....did you by chance get to weight the spool

Sure didn’t, I don’t know where my digital scale is... I did just notice that the paint does have some flake in it that adds just a little sparkle in the right light.

 Negative on the thumbzilla! I wear a med/lrg glove and would say I have normal size hands. I was shocked at how small it was too but also at how much line it held. That pic is after a very long cast with a 3/8 casting plug, with 12lb line. As far as the level wind goes, I didn’t notice it nor have I ever paid any attention to it on any of my other Alphas... I’ll try to check tonight when I get home from work. Here’s a pic of the the line capacity on the box.

Just received mine today. Weights are:

Reel: 6.05oz
Spool: 9.4g with bearing

Still has the levelwind that tracks with the drag.

Is PayPal using different conversion rate than what's listed on digitaka?

For some reason, I have seen it cost slightly more when using paypal than the standard exchange rate indicated at that point.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
