Thanks, I also did some general searching, few different brands/styles on eBay too. Some are more thick and strong, others are just Hedgehog ones rebadged.

Busy week. Glad someone gave you that tip. I haven’t looked there in a while and was starting to think getting spools directly on the site was a myth.

I would suggest ordering something from there ahead of time, so you can get through the somewhat painful sign up process. Then when it is time to order you don't have to fuss with that portion. Basically, when these spools are on, there about gone. I literally have the page up on my computer the entire month they are supposed to be released, refreshing it every chance I get. Following on facebook and twitter is also a good idea. I have no friends on facebook, just follow JDM shops and manufacturers. (I do have a couple of real friends..lol) I was not paying attention to it the night they were released, and fortunatly got a heads up, and was able to snag the last gold one. Every other color was gone within a couple of hours. The finesse spools go faster than the Neo's. They also are about release V3 of the 33mm Alphas and a 30mm CT finesse. Good times!
Just put some #2.5 Varivas PE on it and gave it a whirl...quoting Cavy...YEEWWWWW

Sir...I was so frantically trying to get to the buy button, I failed to get an IXA sideplate bearing or anything else. Just read through the tutorial on the brake setting holder lastnight after seeing a famous board member, suggest it might be a little too controlled for his style of fishing. Just yard casting it in my Steez A (which has a Air sideplate bearing), it is pretty magic, and cant see myself messing with the shim and have my fumble fingers screw up the spool.

Daiwa Steez Popper 70F, used the 60F version so far with a great success. Will see how the 70mm version is going to work. $14
Rattlin' Tube Hog - a creature bait with a rattling tube inside. Price $4
Steez Popper Frog Jr. - cool pooping frog. Price - $9
Multi Jig SS - tungsten football jig, Daiwa claims can be also used as a swimjig. Anyway, excellent quality for a jig under $4.

Halibut 90 - should be good for saltwater - $14




Seaguar Tatsu hard fluorocarbon 10lb, very sensitive fluorocarbon, should be excellent for bottom applications.
Seaguar R18 240 meters spool - according from my contact from Seaguar Japan practically is the same as Invizx. Price $16
(The orange R18 160m spool is the same thing.)
SLP Works I Shape Zaion knob, have the same knob on my Ignis Type R and really like it.
