Player 1, choose your steez! Select frame material, select ratio, select spool and select handle. Equip Steez in your inventory y/n?

Hey Guys who know their spools. Please help. I've held off buying a steez sv tv this long, but when I saw the this '18 slp thing on PLAT, finally might do it. Is it me or are the spool ordering options mis labeled on PLAT for the semi-order thing? See deep 1012 and shallow 1016 as examples. Two 1016s--one labeled as deep and one shallow. What gives? I'm confused. Your help would be much appreciated.

They appear to be mislabeled on the SV custom page. On the Steez A page they are labeled correctly.

Awesome; thanks! That also explains why the person at PLAT appeared annoyed with my inquiry when I messaged them before asking here. I'll use that page for selecting spool if I pull the trigger

I run a 1012 and a 1016 in my Steez A. Both are great spools for a wide range of lure weights, and the 1012 can handle very light stuff with the right rod (it will a throw a 2.5" Zman grub on a 1/8 jighead about 30-35m with 6 lb Fireline Ultra). Don't own a standard Steez TW, but they are not over-braked in a Steez A and are a joy to use.

Is the 1016 you run the Zillion SV TW G1 version or the SLP/stock Steez SV TW version??? I only ask because I know they are a tad different... Been really eyeing a Steez A, but after wanting a 1012 so bad it almost makes more sense to just buy the JDM XH version and kill 2 birds with one stone... Would save me big $$$ though to just use my extra Zillion SV TW G1 1016 though and donate the G1 MagZ to another reel (or sell it).

I am trying to decide what reel to put on my 2018 ZBONE 7'6 MH (power4).

8.1:1 Versions of:

1. Tricked out Steez A with 1012 spool, 95mm carbon handle and KNOB I Shape Light = 439 USD

2. Regular Steez SV TW = 467 USD

I would be throwing it for Jigs, Worms and Paddle tails up to 3/4oz

Thanks.

Cheers.

Well my daughter's get spoiled by Build a Bear    , but these are lacking in imagination IMHO. Don't get me wrong great way to do a flagship platform but this is an opportunity to really put something out there extra ordinary :big grin: but these in my opinion miss the opportunity and mark. We all have different tastes in and honestly I'm sure these things will get zapped out fairly quickly all consensus is it's a pretty badass platform I just have trouble coming around :laugh1:

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
