I would say that it has only one bearing per knob like the chron mgls to make 8+1
What is the new ald advertised as having?
But the shimano website shows the bantam to be 7+1

I'm really hoping its mistake and it has the same bearings at key locations like the Chronarch MGL and Curado K do. I can already see them saying it doesn't need support there because of the solid metal frame (could be right). I know some of the websites misread the Tatula LT bearing count, so maybe this is just a misprint.

Ok so japan tackle has it listed as 8 + 1
and it shows both side plates to be aluminum.

I'm really trying to get to the bottom of this now, really bothering me for some reason, even though it's insignificant. I also wanna know if the XG model has a longer handle too. Maybe it is possible there are 4 on the spool, an extra Silent Tune (5 on spool/pinion) and 3 including roller bearing on the main shaft for 8 total. I just really hope it isn't like the Curado 70 and only one bearing supporting the anti reverse/main gear.arrowslinger1 wrote:Ok so japan tackle has it listed as 8 + 1

It doesn't seem like much and maybe with Shimano's quality it won't matter, but I just really, really would like to see a dual supported main gear cause from what I can tell it does help the AR clutch survive much longer.
