And here in Aus a lot of guys chased the Yumeya dark and foreboding bits for their FE's - made them look menacing to look at once ridding the gold laden trims.

Wish i could've got those bits for my FE.

This site has some specs. Looks like they shaved some weight off of the 2014 model.

10 - 15g less weight on equivalent sizes. They have either changed the way they rate “practical drag pressure” or it has gone down quite a bit according to the table. The C3000 went from 6kg practical and 9kg max down to 3.5kg practical and 9kg max .

Looks like it has the same finish as the Metanium MGL.

I can’t wait to see what they did to the gears on the inside it said micro module 2 so I’m guessing they made the teeth even smaller? Can’t wait to check it out!

Ci4+ you think? That would be a sad day imho. All metal is what a Stella needs to be.

No way... it has to be magnesium... I'll look into it too. I'll have one ASAP upon official release, can't wait :D

On the shimano.co.jp they said that the body and rotor "are metal"...but still 20 gr minus from the 2014 and 2010 models means something...

2500 FE (2010) = 225 gr
2500 FI (2014) = 225 gr
2500 FJ (2018) = 225 gr

I think that will be a great real because it is still a Stella...but the weight loss and 1 bearing minus rise some questions...?!?

Plastic "composite micro" gears :big grin:

My steez 17 uses Zaion body I believe and a Zaion rotor and its super smooth, light and amazing.
I can't feel any flex and its super light.
