Looks like the Steez rods are getting a makeover.

So new casting rods are machine gun cast type 1.5 and updated hustler all with svf nano plus. New harrier and sky pirate.

I think the Air beam reel seat on the old Harrier looks way better. I've never held a zillion but it looks like a similar reel seat, not sureally how I feel about it. I wonder if that 3dx tech will improve sensitivity :-k

Website reads 108g= 3.81oz a bit lighter than the old harrier. 3dx tech is supposed to be lighter and more powerful. I wonder if the decrease in weight is because of the blank or reduced reel seat.

I've always admired the Jdm Steez rods, but never bought one due to the split grips.
Nice to finally see a steez rod with full grip(sort of) on that Spector

I own a few jdm steez rods. The zaion seat is just as comfortable as the air beam. Looks like they are going with zaion seat for longer upper power models and air beam for shorter lower power models now

I also think that both of these reel seats are very comfortable. I would love to have either for my custom builds. The rear grips do look a little more fishable for those of us that like full rear grips.

Sure would be nice if Daiwa opened up a truly global market for their goods. A lot of their JDM rods are wicked.

-So any chance of these coming to USA?

Would like to see the strike force and harrier Finesse come over here. Pretty sure these 2 are japan made rods.

Yes that is what I gather also. But the harrier and sky pirate look to be 2 piece.

Seems Daiwa copied Shimano Poison Glourios and Ultima look.
