Steez Limited SV 105XH

Post by BassFisher83 » Sat Oct 15, 2016 10:18 am

Who owns one and how do you like it? I now have a ITO 103M, Type R+, Steez SV TWS. While I still like my Shimano Daiwa is stealing me away. While this purchase is still a ways off or I'll be getting divorced for sure always good to know what's next!

Looking to pick it up for t-rig 1/8-1/4oz primarily. 1/16 & 3/8 occasionally. I fish shallow 8' or less. Mostly grass lines spars pads and lay downs. Pitching and shorter casts primarily.

Thanks!

I had one it was phenomenal. It could cast 1/8oz total weight easily. I was using HH AIR BFS bearings which helps. I never casted it stock. I could cast 1/16 jighead with a grub OK. I wasn't using the ideal rod for it. A weightless 4in worm was easy to cast.

It was solid and smooth as well. I sold it becasue I was liquidating stuff to buy more stuff.

Hey I just bought one of these. Don't have it but I imagine it is similar to my SS SV but a lot less terrible.

SS SV has never been a "terrible" reel.
I'd say the SV105 is more refined for sure.

The 105sv spool can get your down to the lower weights but it could never compare to a true shallow spool for accuracy and ease with 1/8 or less.

It is still a phenomenal reel.
