Daiwa spinning ree lsizecompared to shimano

Is the daiwa 2506 spinning reel comparable to the shimano C2500HGS? I never used daiwa before I'm just curious.

Don't know about a Daiwa 2506, but a 2500 Daiwa spool is typically 48 mm across with a gap of 18 mm between the back of the spool lip and the front of the spool skirt. Corresponding figures for a Stradic CI4+ are 46 and 11 mm.
