So what does this mean??? (New Metanium MGL)

Post by sprogk » Tue Sep 13, 2016 7:02 am

So I received my two new reels today...

Saw this in the box...and it's killing me not knowing what it means?

Image

Obviously something I have to take note of since its on the yellow piece of paper..
Is it something to do with the silent tune?

Might be related or not...but how tight does the spool via the spool tension knob have to be? Can it be more loose since it has the spring loaded bearing (silent tune feature)?

Thanks for help

Probably means "do not tie line though slot". Use an arbor knot or whatever know you want aroumd the spool

I don't know.....see how the spool sides are also "marked". That's something else.

If you have a Google Translate app on your phone there is a way to use your camera and it will translate for you

Thanks for sharing. I have a couple but havent had the chance to use them. I thought it had something to do with oiling and meant to find out prior to using them. I feel like I seen some of those papers in the scorp 70 boxes too but cant remember

What surprises me most about this is that the holes are just for decorations. LOL
