No, seen the new 16 Glorious hyper approach 1611 it comes in a japanlure only 100 dollars more shipped leaning toward that one and that rod only weights 3.9 where the bantam is coming in at 4.5.

I don't blame you one bit. If I bought a new PG, the Hyper Approach is one of the ones that I want. JLS also has cheaper shipping than BassJP. I have bought one rod, a Poison Glorious 1611H+ Wild Stinger and a bunch of reels from JLS and you will not have any problems out of them.

Due to the heat I haven't fished it, but some preliminary notes, it weighs 4.5 oz but feels lighter because of the usual JDM importance placed on balance. Med fast taper seems about right. But the blank seems more med light than medium based on looks and compared to other rods. I'm going to use it for small cranks and squarebills, jerkbaits, maybe giving spy baits another chance. Everthing is aligned and clean. Cork is decent, and comes with a sleeve that's half nylon half faux leather. Check out the pics in the show and tell section. I bought this rod specifically for my conquest 50dc that's been laying around for awhile waiting for a worthy partner.
