I will post pics when I get time but to be honest I bought most of this stuff about 3 years ago and a good bit i've never even wet a line with. I will comment on what i've used but definitely Gary knows what these will do. I got out of fishing to raise my boys who played sports seems like year round and sold my boat. Now that they are on their own I got back into fishing in a big way. Thanks for the post and I will post pics when I can.

good luck finding that perfect jig rod. Only the Phase 3 line up comes close to a NRX
I replaced my 893c with the X7 EM, different strokes for different folks ;)

I definitely agree different stroke for different folks. I think for the money being spent on the equipment i buy it should be great in performance, comfortable to handle as well as visually appealing.

I have the 893 and it's probably the most sensitive rod I own.

What were you using the NRX893 for and what do you like about the X7 EM more ?

Was my dedicated 3/8oz jig rod. The X7 has a stiffer tip which i prefer. I just didnt like how soft the 893 tip was. X7 looks better as well, doesnt have recoils, and i dont feel i lost any sensitivity.

I hear you on the stiffer tip. I like to hop a jig, so I too didn't like the extra fast tip of the NRX 893. I just got a NRX 843 MBR to try as its just a fast tip.

Do you have experience with the Kirisame F2-63XK-S? I am considering this stick and would like to know little bit about it.

This rod is simply awesome for BFS. It can handle 1/16 oz no problem (with the right reel). Anything in particular I can help answer? I've used mine with 1/16 jig heads with Gulp! leeches and hellgrammites. Landed a 4.5# on it and it was a lot of fun.
