Check out this video for the FG knot. Pretty good video and shows you exactly how to do it step by step.

Doesn't look too bad, may be something I'll practice a little. Thanks for the link.

i think the ultimate dropshot rod ive ever fished was the bait breath evola. way out of production now, but it was the ultimate in every way for its time. wish i never sold it tbh. next to that it was my bearing down type x. still toying with the idea of trying to find another one of each.

Another update, I have been experimenting with dragging Ned rigs on the 2015 Hedgehog, the action and sensitivty has been phenomenal. Just stuck a 6.5lb Spotted Bass on it, and the rod performed flawlessly, with more than enough power left.

It took me a while, but I now fish it without worrying about the tip, and have had no issues. I just might have to get another one...

I'm loving my 2015 hedgehog. I don't worry about the tip anymore either. It takes little getting used to, but I can make hard overhead casts with a 4"-6" worms with a 1/4 oz weight. It can feel a little overpowered with that weight, but it's handled it fine. It's extremely sensitive. I feel every light tick and I see the rod tip bob and twitch when I'm getting bit. It even has the power to pull 5+ lb fish away from cover. Most of my fish on this rod have been on the small side but the sensitivity and responsiveness make them feel big. The lone 5lbr I caught was subdued pretty easily.

Which one do you think looks like a good drop shot stick?

I'm with you guys on the 2015 Evoluzion Hedgehog. That rod is a drop shot dream!!
