2012 Antares

Post by Crankbaitmaker » Sat Oct 24, 2015 5:56 pm

I am thinking about getting a 2012 Antares. However, I do not like the way that the non handle side plate fastens. I have had some bad experiences with the side plates on some Shimano reels moving under your palm after they have been fastened down. The feeling of that side plate moving under my hand just drives me nuts. Has anyone experienced this problem with the Antares?

Thanks,

Very solid reel, no problems with the side plate.
