Another SV spooled JDM reel. That makes 7 of 'em in the Daiwa JDM.

Wonder what is the plan for Daiwa USDM as far as the SV spooled reels.

To me at least, future of daiwa will he 2 distinct platforms.
The Tatula platform spawning zillion, Morethan etc.

Then this SS like platform with the SS, Alphas perhaps future steez.

Looks like round reels and Mag3D has come and gone

Question is..what happens to a replacement Z?

Clicking drag star finally? Looks identical to the SS SV drag star.

X2 I have too many reels, too many Sols/Alphas; just one more. It will be OK.

Has there been reviews of the new SS reels on here?

Definitely something to look forward too. I thought I was all reeled out. Ss SV to replace the Tdz, this new Alphas variant, will The Usdm see a new Fuego and Sol? At any rate this post makes me feel better about my Daiwa vibes.

I will say that I'm very happy to see them keep the overall profile/shape/style of the reel. I'm actually looking forward to this. One more addition to the line up can't hurt...right?

This is awesome as the Alphas platform is one of my favorites and this will fit right in with my other Alphas. Might have to hold off on adding a Finesse Custom to the collection for now (but maybe not :D ).

Hopefully an SV spool for the Alphas/Sol will become available on its own too.
