I received these both in the last couple/few weeks and yet to give 'em a real go.

Is that a Phase3 Nautilus? Itching more and more to get me one. Sweet setup. Plan on throwing jigs on it?

Pin, yes, it's a Nautilus. I haven't quite decided what I'm going to target with it, it's alot more sensitive in hand that what I thought it might be so I'm thinking Carolina rigging for sure and maybe even Senkos and Ikas as well. I was pleaseantly surprised when I opened the rod cover and found that the new Nautilus doesn't have the gold thread check but has one that's more of a pewter color instead. It matches the Exsence perfectly in both aesthetics and balance. I added the Semper Fi handle yesterday,

Can you tell us what the rod weighs and post a review when you find the time. Awesome combo, thanks for sharing.

How come when I see a Nautilus, I hear a voice in my head saying " buy one you idiot!"

Sweet setup too!

That's exactly how I ended up with mine. I also picked up a Black Elseil at the same time from Gary. I'll have to take some pics of that one too.

Looks even better with the Lakers in the background.I have (nautilus from Gary) only fished mine once.It handled swim baits at 1.5oz with ease.i could feel the boot on these vibrating most of the time.I didn't get to put it thru the ringer due to the bite.Ill say it fishes really comfortable with either a D7 or a Zill type R strapped on.

Gorgeous combo! Has anyone been able to test this rod out fishing carolina rigs in the 3/4-1.5oz range? I'm going to only be buying one new rod this year and need something to pull triple duty as a carolina rig, football jig, and pitching rod.
