Megabass Orochi F4.5-70X4 Black Elseil
As far as action and power which rods does the Black Elseil compare to? What type of action does it have? I'm considering getting a new jerkbait rod and would like one that could handle the Pointer 100, Staysee 90, Vision 110, and Vision 110 Magnum. My current jerkbait rod is a G Loomis CBR845.

The Black Elseil is an extremely versatile rod. I use mine for DT-6's, DT-10'S, and larger jerkbaits. However, the Black Elseil also excels with small jigs and lighter texas rigs as well. It's my "do it all and do it well" rod in my arsenal. I don't think you will go wrong with buying the Black Elseil, and as I have found with my other Megabass rods, they will really surprise you on how versatile they really are!

It's most similar to my St.Croix LTB teaser.
I was expecting it to be a really nice moving bait rod but I didn't expect it to be such a nice worm/jig rod.
I've thrown a little bit of everything with it. It handles lures up to 1/2oz very well. I've used 3/4oz lures like one knockers & topwaters and I feel that's the limit.
It's not a rod thats excellent at one technique, it's a rod that's great at a lot of techniques.

Yeah it's the X4's light duty jack of all trades kind of like the Destruction is the X4's heavy duty jack of all trades. Pretty awesome rod she is now paired with my T3B and performing flawlessly. Now just too wait for spring. The 8" of snow is making it hard right now.

How does the Black Elseil compare to the CBR845 in terms of power and action (taper)?
