In stock for $209 at Japan Tackle. Thank God the Yen is going down in value It certainly looks great witout line but I'll let somebody else take the plunge. Most likely I will stick with my Pixy Finesse special and Curado 50 with avail spool. However, I will order an SV spool for my T3

lpquick - titanium is heavier than aluminum thus contradicting the "lighter is better" philosophy that this spool embodies. As well, titanium offers strength over aluminum but in this application there would be no advantage, aluminum spools are plenty strong for sub 10lb line.
The spool does look incredible, but I wonder how much performance increase there will be over the original BF spool.

If I remember chemistry class correctly... Titanium is somewhere around 60% heavier than aluminum.

60% higher density, 200% stronger.
Design to the same load, you can make it 20% lighter with titanium.

Smalliesteve - Yes it is true you can use less material, as titanium has a much higher strength than aluminum. However, keep in mind machining limitations and cost, machining titanium is very difficult compared to steel and aluminum, the tool feed rates must be exactly optimized otherwise your tool life goes below Australia. Furthermore titanium will not take the same anodize colors as aluminum, especially black. That said titanium is wonderful material that provides many interesting avenues manufactures can explore.

Aluminum has a specific gravity of 2.55 -2.8, titanium 4.506. Doing some calculations titanium comes in at 2.605 onces per cubic inch, and aluminum comes in at 1.62 ounces per cubic inch.
