Core 100 handle upgrade 90 or 95mm?

Post by tman » Sun Jan 27, 2013 9:10 pm

Which will work better with the reel? I don't want it to look too rediculous or throw the balance off too far...

I was thinking the 90mm would be a good fit; I'm tempted to try the 95mm but think it might look a little insane on a smaller reel

Does anyone know the stock size? I was thinking something like 76-80mm?
Also what size does the Chronarch or Curado 200E have stock on them....like 84?

thanks

90mm minimum! the longer the better, i prefer 90-100mm handles.

Stock is 80mm. I have a 90mm and it is a big improvement but I have never tried a 95mm so I can't compare.

You are correct. The Curado and Chronarch 200Es are 84mm stock.

The longer the handle the more leverage (torque) you have, also you may consider the longer distance your hand has to travel to complete a rotation which might influence your retrieve (IPT) thru hand speed. I have a 90mm on CQ51 and love it. I put a 95mm on Calcutta 201DC and couldn’t be happier.

I have tried both a 90mm and 95mm and was satisfied with them both, so I think it is just a matter of personal preference. I thought the 95 looked great, too, so no worries there in my opinion.
