Well, I didn't need the reel at all, but between the ZPI spool, HH bearings and the handle...couldn't pass it up. :D

Look for the reel to be posted up for cheap as soon as I get it.

There has been a popular ebay scam going around the last few months. Someone in China hacks an ebay and paypal account. Then they put up an auction for a $300-$500 item (game consoles are popular) for around $40 buy it now. The $40 is so it looks like they simply forgot a digit. They put it at a high amount of items available and let it go for about 48 hours. They attach a bogus EMS China tracking number after a buy and the buyer has to wait about a week to cancel the order or file a claim. By then the money is out of paypal and gone. The buyer is protected of course but the banks/paypal/ebay eat the cost and write it off quickly because each transaction is a "small amount".

Sounds likely. Hopefully they get prosecuted...

Here's to hoping that I'm not going to be among the burned, but lets be honest, I have definitely exhibited risky behavior. No risk, no reels

Chinese seller + zero feedback = 100% scam. But I hope Ebay will cover you when it doesn't show.

And a seller is supposed to honor the sale, but they don't HAVE to by any means.

Won this but haven't heard from buyer, unfortunately will be filing claim. Sucks, was looking forward to it as well.

Yeah, I'm watching that one too! Limited to 39! I didn't realize there were that few! There's one other on the 'Bay right now, a new one with a BIN of $1199.

You guys can fight over that one. It's the least appealing TD-Z in my opinion.

I told my wife last night I'm betting around $600, possibly more, depending if the right people get involved and "have to have one". The last one on ebay went for $461 and it wasn't in mint nor had the box.
