Didn't end up with 2 red Pixys after all!
Ended up with one red, and one orange!

I don't recall authorizing the sale of an orange Pixy. Why wasn't I informed?

Re: Rod for a Pixy
I think I'm going to wait till the 2008 St Croix Avids and Legend Tournamemt Bass Series rods come out, with the split grip. A 69MLXF for one of my Pixys sounds like an idea! Supposed to be availalbe sometime in late Sept.
My uncle's a Croix dealer, so price will be good!

I looked on the St. Croix website, and did not see anything about the new split grip Avids. Where did you see these? Your uncle? I'd like to know how much they are going to weigh. I have a couple of St. Croix now and love them, and if they are upgrading, that would be sweet.

Re: Rod for a Pixy
The new Croixs will not be available to dealers till around end of Sept.
The new Avids are going to use the IPC and ART technology that the Elites and Legend Tournaments have, along with split grip handles.
