My First Post & JMD Ultra Lite Question

Hi all,

Just found your site & love it. Finding so many that appreciate quality tackle is refreshing & it feels that I've come home.

Here in the U.K there is a plague of acceptable mediocrity, a vast amount of which comes from China etc. Being in the trade I see it more than most. I can not think of a single retailer of high end lure fishing tackle. For the past 8 years I have not bought a commercially available rod, I have designed all my own & had them built for me. Unless we go online we never even hear of most of the kit the is available in the U.S and Japan.

So to my question. Does Megabass make a 6' ultra lite rod in the 1g - 7g casting weight class? Thanks to Vidar6's input on another forum I've come up with the following options:

Palms Jade Mirror Cross Stream JCGS-60L 6' 3-6g
Daiko Burroughs BRSS-60L 6' 0.875-7g

Which of the above, and a Megabass if available would you recommend?

I hope to be ordering from Plat over the next couple of months.

Here is Megabass's 6' Ultra Light Trout rod. The website specification says 5'6", but given the model number, I suspect the website is in error:
