Megabass Rod Socks.
Megabass Rod Socks.
Does anyone really use them?
Re: Megabass Rod Socks.
If my reel is ever off the rod you bet I'll use it.

Re: Megabass Rod Socks.
My Archangel came with one like that. Would be nice to have a reel attached to the rod and use the rod sock.
Re: Megabass Rod Socks.
you can use them for long guns...lol
I am considering selling mine because I can't see have multiple rods rigged on the boat with them. I like it
but its a bit much.. Still i don't put stick jackets on the MB rods..

It would be nice if they worked with a reel on them.
I just keep a rod glove on them all the time except when I'm actively fishing.

I just throw them under the bed. Otherwise they're just taking up space. I wish MB would give you rod socks like covers instead of these soft sleeves. Would be better to take your setup with you and protect the rods while reel is attached.

You should start using them. I use them mainly so my line doesn't get tangled between combos. The rod protection is nice too.goldrod wrote:you can use them for long guns...lol

Never.
They don't slide into the rod locker rack in the boat.
Somewhat of a pain to use.
Don't see myself unzipping every single sleeve, not knowing which is which, to reach for a combo.
Prefer the traditional rod socks.
