Photobucket sucks. Who's better?

Post by biggs » Sun Dec 13, 2015 9:11 am

Anyone else find Photobucket is extremely slow and has been for a while.
Any recommendations for other photo uploading services??

Dropbox is what I use. Simple, free, seems to work.

I too am a dropbox user and it works well, space is a bit limited if you don't pay but its probably more than most need. I started using google photos also, unlimited storage and simpler to share pics imo. I use amazon for my raw image format uploads as I have amazon prime its unlimited also.

Been using TinyPic for a few years now without issue. Their anti-bot strategy is to have you watch a 30 second video and enter text to confirm you're human, but besides that it's cake.

What's the easiest way to resize images to 100kb on iphone to upload to TT forums?
How do you guys do this? Even from PC's it sucks...have to first resize using Irfan view.

Tapatalk. Go in a thread and attach a pic, then cut the url and paste anywhere else. Been doing that for years.
THIS IS HOW EASY IT IS

Ok I registered on Tapatalk and attached the pic. Saw that it resizes the pic....but then where do you cut & paste the url?
I attached a pic in the ultimate bass forum on tapatalk app. Couldn't copy image url or resized image?
How do you do it?

So btw Ultimate bass is what I consider my home forum. So what I do is open up any thread and go to reply, attach the pic and you will see the URL pop up in the text field, select all, cut, then just cancel the post. Open up a reply wherever else, post the url in the text field and wala. About the resizing, the screenshot above is medium. It depends on the shape of the pic if it will fit and look normal when looking at the forum with a mobil view. Ussually small and medium fit, large (original size) looks the best but like I said if its a wide landscape style pic you may see it doesnt look right, like its cut off. No biggie though, just go back into tapatalk and try a different size and edit this post. I know that may sound complicated but only because im being thourough with my explanation. It takes like two seconds, and like I said I e been doing it for years and it works everytime and looks great. Here is a large original pic of a recent set of reels i picked up. Notice its cut off.Image Here is the same pic in medium.Image And one more in small..Image
