Member Evolution

Post by Kimbro1014 » Wed Sep 16, 2015 12:32 pm

Good evening fellow junkies. Many don't know me here as I subscribe to the two ears one mouth mentality so I don't post much. With that being said, I've been a member here for a very long time. I've been thinking about a phenomena that is evident when looking back through early posts of other members, the evolution of our equipment and even involvement with the site. In many posts when people ask questions on forums you're likely to see "use the search function". I do use it and use it often to answer questions I may have. Through my peeling back layers of TT history, I've unintentionally observed how the sport, industry, site and members here have evolved. There's no real point of this post but to relay how neat I think it is to witness this. This site is truly the best. We have the best admin, members and catalogued knowledge of how to push your fishing style and equipment to the next level and for that I'd like to thank every one old and new for their contributions. The next time you have a question, I hope you decide to use the search function, you may be surprised at what you learn.

Regards,
Joe

The funny thing about TT being 90% of the google search function results is you can't pass them up. Not even if it's not even close to what you're looking for. I really think the bait monkey has a grown sibling the TT gorilla that whispers in your ear...just click the topic. Three hours later you forget what you were even looking for but ended up buying more gear you didn't need...and in turn don't have the funds left to buy what you needed.
